Sling Media Slingbox 350 plus HDMI Sowtech splitter and video converter

It worked right out of the box using a YouTube unboxing video

I have not had any other slingbox but I always wanted to buy one. I read a lot of complains about ads and what not, and I am not that bothered by that, so I decided to buy an older device, if I hated it The loss will be minimal. The product set I bought, brought a video adapter composite to hdmi and an HDMI splitter, the ad also mentioned compatibility with X1 and all of it gave me confidence. I unboxed the slingbox, all the adapters were connected, connection to the power, the tv, the cable box, restart the slingbox, create an account on slingbox and follow the prompts to setup the 350... 10 minutes later I was watching cable on my pc and changing channels. So with xfinity X1 and an X1 SR5 control, this thing works like a charm.
