A genuine part that's worth paying for
After two attempts using OEM 3rd party back covers, which cracked under normal use and didn't handle the flash properly, I went for this official part.
Be warned that the adhesive needs to apply to a spotlessly clean chassis and allowed to cure, possibly under pressure before normal use.
To verify the part you have is genuine, check for the stamped serial number and proper lens for the flash.

Blow within a week, failed an MOT
On the face of it, these should have been good value but the fact of the matter is the bulbs don't last long and one even caused an MOT failure due to not outputting the correct pattern (it had quickly gone cloudy).
Could be a batch issue but every bulb I've tried so far has been faulty.

Excellent value
For a part that for all intents and purposes should be considered obsolete by now, I was very glad to find this, for a very reasonable price!
Dubious over the packaging without any ESD protection but it has performed well so far, slightly overclocked to the timings my original RAM (half the size) ran at.
