Everything You Need To Get Started
Tanglewood has come up again with a bargain, decent quality, guitar ideally suited to beginners and intermediate players. The cutaway allows for easier access to the higher frets and fit and finish are very good. A built in tuner and pickups allow the guitar to be easily kept in tune; important for beginners, and it can be plugged into an amplifier for an incredible range of tones. Acoustically the sound is surprisingly good for such a modest guitar.
The guitar arrived well protected in bubble wrap and foam, complete with truss rod adjustment key. The strings were pretty much in tune out of the box and the action was well set with no string buzz anywhere on the fretboard.
Enclosed tuners are smooth and easy to tweak to get the strings precisely in tune. The dark, almost black, finish stands out from the more traditional guitar appearance, in a good way.
Impossible to find fault for the money. You could spend more than double and get a guitar that wasn’t as good.

Heavy Duty Charging Cable
1 of 2 found this helpful This is a heavy duty charging cable designed for hard use. The right angled lightning connector incorporates an LED that shows when a device is being charged. One side is much brighter than the other, so just turn the connector around if it is too bright at night. So long as the cable is connected to a battery pack or charger, the LED will glow very faintly. The electricity used will not discharge the battery pack for a year, so no worries about leaving the cable plugged in. Ot should perhaps be removed for long term storage. Works great, charges the phone quickly and provides a visual cue that it is working as expected. Cheap enoigh to buy several. Keep a spare in the car, and have two or three more around the home or office for the price of just one cable from other suppliers.
