Best player on the market
I own both a Sony 800 and this Panasonic 820 - the Pana provides a more refined image and is quicker in use and can handle Dolby images / HDR with less fuss.
It only lacks SACD playback ( which is why I have the Sony) otherwise best on the market !

Easy solution and a quick fix
Certain cameras have a mini mini jack socket to record sound with an external microphone, so this simple quick and easy solution fixed the issue allowing the use of ‘ normal’ cables. And it was great value too !
