Brilliant Album.
Ok I’m slightly biased. I love everything Dave has done, and everything Depeche Mode ever recorded.
That said, this is still a cracking standalone album. As with his others, you get a bit of the Mode sound, but with more of a rock n roll feel to it. Standout tracks are Dirty Stick Floor, Bottle Living and Black and Blue Again. But there isn’t a bad track on it, and Daves voice is, as always, in superb form.
The deluxe version with bonus dvd is worth having just for the ‘Sticky’ video if nothing else. But the acoustic songs are ok.
I certainly can’t complain at the price (£2.60) i paid.
So go ahead, it’s just a good rock/pop album.

First impressions of DMC-TZ3
3 of 3 found this helpful Bought this as a first digital cam for my girlfriend. The main criteria being easy to use, and cost. I'm a SLR man myself, but as compacts go, for the price (£113 from Emilyandlily,) this little chap takes some beating. We travel abroad a lot, so she wanted a cam mainly for scenery and snaps ect, So the quality 28-280mm lens is certainly a bonus, as is the image stabilization. Also a nice three inch screen, not maybe the best around but decent all the same. Quite stylish looking too, and 7.1mp is easily enough for say 8X6" holiday prints. Sure there's better compacts around. I'd probably buy a Canon G9, but your talking well over twice the price. So to summarize.... A nice lens, with 28mm at the wide end, Image stabilization, Big LCD screen, a metal body and does everything most happy snappers would want from a camera, and Easy to use too.
For less than £120, tell ya what, you could do a lot worse.
