Soft bristles meant it wouldn't shift debris.

The item was described as having stiff bristles, it doesn't. It will move loose leaves but anything heavier than dry leaves stubbornly remains with the bristles just bending over the top it. The pole does bend but is to be expected but it does mean at full extension that you're spending more time trying to steady it to get it in the right place and you can't put any force behind the brush as it just bends in the middle until the brush almost pops out of the gutter. All in all the pole needs to be much sturdier and heavier so that it doesn't distort and the bristles need to actually be stiff if they're going to be labelled as stiff. It simply didn't do the job it was intended for.

Stopgap while main machine is repaired

Bought this not expecting much, main machine is being repaired and couldn’t face the laundrette but I was surprised how good this little bit of kit is. Don’t get me wrong, constant moving of items back and fore from the wash drum to the spinner is a pain but I can put up with it for a few weeks. The spinner is hard to get balances so it don’t bang and rattle but when you get it right the clothes come out surprisingly dry. All in all, the laundrette probably would have been less hassle but if this thing lasts (it is a bit plasticky) then I’ll be happy with my purchase.
