Easy fit, but doesn't last forever.
3 of 3 found this helpful This is the 3rd time that I have had to renew the engine on my Gainsborough shower in around 9 years, so on average they last 3 years. Our household is probably an 'average-user' household, so they're not failing as a result of too much use, in my opinion, so it must be a durability/quality issue. It is this finite life that moves me to rate it with 4 instead of 5 stars....I would have thought that something of this nature would last longer.
On the plus side, it is a very easy job to replace the unit if you are a reasonably proficient DIYer, although of course one should always take care when around water and electricity together. If you need to ask a professional to fit it, they're going to achieve this in 30 minutes or so, so no massive fitting bill, hopefully. It's an easy retro-fit if you already have the same shower, so no mess or fuss or having to drill new holes anywhere. Plus, of course, it's way cheaper than a whole new shower installation cost. Overall, I think 4 stars are fair, and i would recommend the product as a good low-budget fix.

Great value!
This part is a 99% sure fire fix for any Vitara that only has speeds 3 and 4 working on its HVAC blower motor. This was brilliant value for a genuine Suzuki part in original packaging. However, be warned - replacing this part is a job for somebody who can lie on their back in a footwell for long periods, has a good set of tools, and good dexterity!

Great value and quality item!
I have no hesitation in recommending the quality and value of this replacement cutter and foil set. Easily fitted and comes well packed in a way that protects the delicate metal foil.
