Great upgrade over ISP supplied router
I live in a rural area so my speeds are poor. With the ISP Thompson router I got 1.8mbp download and 0.320mps upload. Simply plugging this router in the same place and entering the user/password gave me 2.4mps download and 0.55mps. upload.
That little bit makes all the difference and I can now watch BBC Iplayer and the other on-demand channels which before were largely useless. It's more stable too, less drop outs and the speed is more consistant.
In fairness ny old router was 6 years old though so this could just be an advance in technology available with many newer routers. If you've had your ISP supplied router for a number of years - but a new one like this one, I'm so pleased I did !
