Good for what you pay
If you are just pitting in Yale style keys singularly this is great. Not so good for bunches of keys or the larger car key fobs. If yiu have too much in there or the centre hinged flap is not pushed back far enough it will shut, but not open wihout some brut force and ignorance.

Naive
I have read books that have been turned into films and watched film adaptations of books I have read and there is of course always differences and poetic licence.
Having always loved the Shrek series of films I introduced the magic to my young children.
But to expand their minds beyond the films we discussed about it being based on a book and so I bought it to show them. "Based" in this instances is very very fast and lose with the truth. If i didnt know it was based on this book I wouldn't have believed you.
Nevertheless great respect to inspiring one of the best movie franchises in history and great respect to those that made the movies so far beyond that which is contained within the pages of this book
