THIS RIVETING PUZZLER IS ENTIRELY TOO SHORT!
His daughter disappears into the room and his efforts to get her back are frustrated as he must wind his way through a bureaucracy of people. No, it's not the Internal Revenue Department (Revenue Canada to us up North)... it's the madcap people who possess various items from the Lost Room who have discovered - and use - the peculiar special power of each item, starting with the key that opens the door to the Lost Room.
Ever watched a court in session, where only the lawyers know what "magic words" to say? It seems like magic, and the items here each have a confounding magic that can be used... but how do we get the girl back??
You won't be able to stop watching, and when it's all over, like me you will want there to have been other madcap people wielding other crazy items...

A BOUNTY NEEDING THREE FEET OF SHELF SPACE AND A MAGNIFYING GLASS
1 of 1 found this helpful The Anchor Bible Dictionary, in six ponderous volumes of small print with minimal b/w images and maps, is now a quarter-century out of date in scholarship, yet used examples command exorbitant prices. A dictionary only in its alphabetical setup, the articles are encyclopedic without the benefit of editing out convoluted sentence structure. The wealth of material in this compendium is sometimes overwhelming, nowhere assisted by succinct, pithy writing.
Very much like the Anchor Bible series itself, some volumes of which are over a half-century old, new volumes to complete the series still appearing from year to year, the scholarship of which varies from outstanding ("the Gospel of John", recently revised to replace Raymond Brown's outstanding original of 50 years ago) to extremely poor (think "Gospel of Mark" in its first appearance).
That said, it is an in-depth, scholarly set that will be welcomed by interfaith professionals and advanced students alike.
