Miles Auto Parts was started by my grandfather Chester B. Miles in 1932. It was most recently under the ownership of my uncle who at 92 has decided to give it up. The building in my profile picture is the actual shop where my grandfather started it all and where my Uncle Tom just retired from. My memories go way back to playing around in the junkyard that flanked both sides of the building and across the street in the little town in the 60's. My parts come from different sources but many times it's just a junkyard. I buy whole parts cars now and again and groupings occasionally as well. I won't sell junk knowingly and in one of the toughest categories to satisfy folks I have excellent feedback. The majority of my sales are in vintage auto parts and in reality my customer base is comprised mostly of real car people. It pretty satisfying when the right person and part find their way together.
