Good Fun But Not Robust enough
1 of 1 found this helpful Whilst fast enough to keep most youngsters and even adults entertained it isn't robust enough. Externally it will take quite a few knocks with no appreciable damage. however, It uses universal joint type drive shafts like real cars but these can come apart with heavy knock. As long as you don't lose the outer end of the drive shaft these can be put back together, but it is fiddly. The main problem we have experienced with ours is the two diff gearboxes. The teeth strip off the gears very easily, and at £17 each inc postage it is an expensive repair. I would therefore not recommend this model if you don't have experience with taking model cars apart or don't want to spend most of your time with it on the work bench.
When working it is certainly entertaining especially with the light bar on the roof. We also have a Ripmax Coyote which is slightly slower and also has lights. The two cars tearing round the car park at dusk with their lights on looks pretty cool.
Overall the Roost is not a bad car but be prepared to start doing repairs to it fairly quickly. In our case after running only five batteries through it.

Very Nice Detailed Model
My wife and I had an opportunity to enjoy a pleasure flight in one of these lovely aircraft in the late 90s over parts of North Wales. My recollection of the flight, which was our first ever flight, was how rock steady it was in the air considering its age. This is why I wanted a model of this particular airplane for my study. It brings back happy memories and I wasn't disappointed at all. It is a beautifully detailed model and really looks nice on my desk

Punch well above their weight
The first pair of these I had lasted me over 15 years. I had them repaired once during this time under The Koss lifetime warantee. They sound superb for the money, way better than any other headphone in this price range in my estimation. They are very light to wear which is also a bonus. The only niggle I would say is the tendency to catch hair in the headband. But as I now have very little hair this is not a problem for me.
