Not a happy chappy.
rather disappointed with this model, I bought it to replace a JVC c/corder, that started being sometime's "unresponsive". but the "SDR S50" doe's not deliver as good as the JVC (when the JVC is operating correctly)prior to the fault developing with the JVC, it delivered a much better result. I did not realise that Panasonic SD 50, was just "SD" (I know, "stupid" yeah) I assumed that all modern c/corders were "HD". However, I will be selling the Panasonic on, and looking for something else, and before I buy, this time, I will look for reviews first. PS, there is NO sd card with it either.so you have to purchase one before you can try it out!.
