5 of 5 found this helpful Why did I Buy this Scanner? well I had a perfectly good Cannon Scanner. I upgraded to win7 and the scanner stopped working. I had spent over £250 pounds on this piece of junk, Canon did not want to know. so I bit the bullet (threw the scanner in the bin) and went for the Epsom. I have been very pleased with my purchase and will give Canon a wide berth in future. Canon you have shot yourself in the foot.

Forgotten Tapes
6 of 7 found this helpful I have had many camcorders in my life and like everything in life technology moves on. While browsing through some old boxes in the loft I came across some old video 8 tapes and had no way of playing them. So as you do I went to Ebay and did a search of video H8 camcorders there was one for sale, I chose the H8 as it will also play the standard 8 tapes as well. Having bid and won the item it arrived a few days later. I duly tested it and found it to be working well as stated in the advert. I have now copied all my old tapes to mini DV for editing and eventually putting on to DVD’s.
This has been a pleasure for me re-living some old memories of my children growing up and some events that I had completely forgotten about.
