Head was a bit crooked but it’s still a great hammer
Unfortunately I received a hammer with the head assembled out of square with the handle. I put it in a hydraulic press and persuaded it square.
I use this hammer for woodworking, and it delivers a good punch if you really swing it, and a delicate tap if you don’t. The softer side works well for assembly and the harder side gives good feedback. It’s a very good hammer for chiseling.

Good, but hard blade.
1 of 1 found this helpful I think it’s well and accurately made. All screws are well made and all threads work smoothly and are at right angles. The sole is almost perfectly flat. The blade is very hard and fractures when I try to turn a hook. It would probably well without a hook but I chose to temper it back so I could turn a hook with a burnisher.
All in all I would say that it’s a bargain at the price and quality level, but perhaps an aftermarket blade from someone like Hock or Veritas would be a wise addition.
