Very original and clever but I can't say it is an enjoyable read
Ian McEwan is a very clever and skilled writer and this book is highly original. However, the plot is quite shocking and I can't say that I enjoyed reading it. I think perhaps on this occasion Ian McEwan has been a bit too clever! But I would still recommend it for it's highly original approach.

A good buy
Very good value for money and fits the Maxtra filter jug perfectly.

Not an exciting read
The book is well written but the subject matter is rather dull. The story improves as it goes on and by the end, I was liking it more, But it is rather mild and unexciting.
