REPLACEMENT WOODEN SHAFT D HANDLE SHOVEL SPADE SPARE FORK AMTECH U1900 24"

Just the job if you need four candles.

Used as replacement handle for border fork, 29" between top bar on tines and top of hand grip (so the spec. of 24" is a bit misleading). Cut off 2" and pared down the shaft to fit the fork socket. I used a palm sander to do this (80 grit), much slower than a spoke-shave but far less likely to over-do things. Keep test inserting and twisting, remove and sand off the score-marks using a rotating motion until handle fits deep into socket. Pre-drill for a couple of brass screws and job's a good 'un. Back in action on the allotment in no time.
