Dark, gritty and mesmerzing police series
This set concludes the series, Murphy's Law. It can be viewed as a standalone but I think you would enjoy series 1-3 as well. As for this series, it is dark and edgy not your lighter series like Midsomer Murders. James Nesbitt is excellent as the tortured-soul, Tommy Murphy. He is a police officer who goes deeply undercover to solve the worse kinds of crimes. Each of the series in this set contains 3 separate episodes that are edge-of-your-seat suspenseful. Murphy has a smart mouth which comes in handy for breaking the extreme tension of the plots. This is a very enjoyable series and I am sorry to see it end.

Room-a thought provoking read
There have been several news stories of young women who have been kidnapped and held hostage by men. Some have even had children by their captors. This novel seeks to discover how one such woman and her young child survived their captivity and more importantly, readjusted to life on the outside. In addition, the novel takes its viewpoint from the eyes of young Jack for whom the world has always been the Room. This could have been a trite story but with the added elements of post hostage life and a child's viewpoint the story becomes special. Well worth reading.

Great gift for a 9 year old
I bought this for my grandson to use while he was visiting. I had plenty of opportunities to see the car in action. It works as great as all Hot Wheel cars do and the paint job on the vehicle was good. It gave him hours of enjoyment.
