Its a capable dslr for its price. The only downside is liveview AF being sometimes completely incapable of focus (mostly in love light)

Soft rubber screen shade
It securely attaches to the tripod mount with a screw and you can take the shade itself off without detaching the mounting surface. Its is mounted on a rail and can be adjusted in all six directions, so I wouldn't worry for compatibility if you can fit your screen/useful part of in diameter of the sun shade. Besides shading I bought this as a stabilizer for telephoto lens on a camera that doesn't have a viewfinder (Pentax Q7) but in this role it doesn't really function since the material is too soft to put pressure on with your eyebrow. On the other hand this makes the eyepiece foldable, which leaves the camera somewhat compact. Other disadvantage is that the shading is somewhat reduced when shooting in portrait orientation since the eyecup fits your eye only in the landscape orientation.
