Memories are expensive

I bought this book because, as it seems to be the case for everyone else, it was one of my favorites when I was little. I had my own hardcover copy, but my father must have gotten rid of it with all my other things when I moved out. (Thanks, Dad.)So I was stuck paying the ungodly price we are forced to pay to have it, since it is no longer in print. On the good side, the text and illustrations are completely enchanting, bringing me back to childhood with each turn of the page. What great memories I have of reading this book on rainy days....I couldn't remember all of the story until I received this copy. It was like meeting an old friend for the fist time in 30 years. This story is a simple one, yet there's nothing else like it. I'm still shocked at what I payed for this, yet I'm glad I did. Now I can shre it with my children, too.

I had loved and used this book for years. Apparently I’d left it at my ex husband’s house. I missed all the tasty and easy recipes for the last 6 years. I’m delighted to be reunited with a copy. Tons of easy recipes with few ingredients. You can find a dinner fit for even the pickiest eater. Delicious dinner made easy.
