Soothing boon, a magic potion
3 of 3 found this helpful It's a big help to my sister, 66, who suffers from osteoarthritis. Regular application has now become a welcome part of her life, a soothing boon. The thought of being without it scares her.
I'd first read about it, long before her diagnosis, in the health section of a serious newspaper here in the UK. The wonderful story of how it came about stayed with me, and am so glad I remembered the article and was able to track down what has turned out be a truly 'magic potion'. It doesn't halt or eradicate pain, of course, but is definitely a helpful aide to soothing care. We're grateful for this not-so-small mercy.
