The Gondoliers DVD by The Australian Opera Chorus
I am attempting to aquire as many different performances of Gilbert & Sullivan Operas that I can. This rendition is very similar in content to the Canadian Shakespeare Theatre version. As with the Canadian version the costumes and sets are excellent as are the vocal performances. Every version of these British Operas are individual and I can recommend this one.

Forget the plot, if you are a classical music lover just enjoy being able to see Padarewski playing the piano without any interruption.
