not very good
fitted these on our cases before our holiday and never saw them again. they do not secure well enough, maybe if you glued them to stop the poppers undoing it would help. cannot recommend.

does the job
works well and is quite robust. Need to supply and fit a compression gland, only a few pence. good price, would recommend.

powerful but noisy
Was surprised at how much water this filter circulates.I have it in a 24inx12inx15in tank and it is almost too powerful. Filter sponge is quite small and very coarse, not sure you would get an awful lot of biological filtering.Do not buy if noise is an issue , it is quite noisy. I have it in a spare bedroom so noise is not an issue. All in all it appears well made and is very cheap, it more than does the job i bought it for.
