S7000 Prosumer digital camera
15 of 15 found this helpful I have had three of these, alwys regretting selling each one for something 'better', up to and including a Nikon D100.
The resolution colour balance, accurate focusing and ease of use makes this camera incredibly friendly whether you are a point and shoot in full auto, or careful entirely manual know what you're doing type of photographer.
This camera does pretty much anything you would ever need it to, don't be fooled by other cameras with gazillion pixels, I use this camera for work and on 3MP it prints up to A4 just as well as a film camera!
Manual speeds up to a staggering 1/10,000th of a second, macro and super macro down to 1cm, an optical and digital zoom, runs two different memory card (CF and XD) built in flash with different settings, including a red-eye reduction that really works, a nice clear viewfinder with built in dioptre correction, easy to use viewscreen also, overlay grid screen when shooting architectural.
Easy to use menus, instant viewing of what you just took, zoom in, zoom out, crop/trim/resize, easy erase, which checks you want to really do it before so no unhappy accidents...
Selectable colour balance, chrome, std, black and white, easy to change ISO, built in video in 2 speeds, simple navigation using mostly one joypad type of up/down/left/right with an OK switch in the middle. Look, if I can use it, you can use it, I could go on and on about it, but I have not got one bad thing to say about this camera; it's a useable size,has a great lens, loads of functions, reall natural colour rendition, good battery life (uses 4 AA, not rare and fancy Lithium Ion Unobtanium) so a spare set of rechargeables or Duracells will see you through an entire day's shooting and reviewing!
This is a great camera. It will help you make the most of your digital photography! Look at the quality of those pics, at only 2MP!

I am not a carpenter or joiner, but do DIY
I am building a shed, and this little piece of kit lets you quickly mark out all your angle cuts for common rafter ends, butts at ridge, and set out angles, with no mistakes.
It's one of those tools that has been around for decades and has not been able to be improved upon, it is easy and simple to use, and everyone should have one
The little book that comes with it shows you how to calculate just about every bit of any roof you will ever build, and gives you the confidence to undertake tasks that would have had you scratching your head for hours.
It is versatile, has many uses, and should be in everyones tool cupboard!
There are also some super how to use videos on the you tube which make it all so easy.
I am glad I bought this, you will be too!!

Tough little waterproof watch!

I have had several now, and I wear this for when I doing the garden or doing any dirty jobs, as I know it won't matter to get it wet or dirty.(within reason..!)
The rotating bezel is great for reminding me how long something has taken, or when I bought parking.
Accurate, within a few seconds a day, clear to read with good luminosity, tough and waterproof in normal use, I can rely on it completely.
Good battery life, the last one was replaced after nearly 2 years!
Comfortable too, easily fits my chunky wrist, it weighs very little and is easy to clean off; I think that for under £25 new, with a 2 year warranty, you can't do better!!
Also in different colours for the more fashion conscious....... you could have several, for different occasions!!
