For me the balance between cultural and scenery/countryside photographs was too much cultural.

Good value photographic book but a very strong emphasis on recording the cultural aspects of the Balinese people, whereas I was specifically looking for scenic photographs from the island, which is beautiful. For me the balance between the two is heavily in favour of the cultural rituals/festivals/costumes etc. That is great , if that is what you want, but I was looking for a scenic record from around the island which is a little limited, considering the opportunities for great photographs of the island, so I was slightly disappointed. Great photography though
