2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD
5 of 5 found this helpful This truck does everything I want it to do. I haul one ton of coal in the bed for my furnace and it handles perfectly. I pull my 26' fifth wheel travel trailer (6,400 lbs) at highway speeds with no strain. The truck came with a hauling package and needed only an electric brake controller added. An adapter cable for the controller came with the hauling package so it took about twenty minutes to install the controller which works perfectly.

Not an exact replacement. Mounting hole...
Not an exact replacement. Mounting holes slightly misaligned & holes not threaded. Had to drill holes slightly & use a longer mounting bolt on upper hole to allow for a nut. But works perfectly with these modifications.
