An easy read (2 days for me), but essential reading
The author worked with Google for many years in R&D and explains the technological issues, the benefits and risks of AI, in simple layman's terms. (If I can understand it, anyone can). But towards the end, he adopts an unexpected angle -a more touchy-feely approach - as the most likely solution. It will be intriguing to find out how accurate his predictions turn out.

Although 40 years old, this book remains highly relevant today.
I came across this title some years ago in a business course. I did not read it at the time, but it was often referred to in other texts. The book embodies research into many major US corporations; its principles are mostly applicable to any large, public-facing organisations.
With the noticeable decline recently in service standards across the UK public sector, I felt compelled to read the book.
