Massenet ‘Le Cid’
Great recording of an undeservedly under-rated and under-performed work. Domingo and Bumbry are on top form. It is an opera of splendid scenes, ensembles, fanfares, marches and duets and makes for great listening. There are almost no other recordings around. I am lead to believe that the ballet music was truncated for this live performance, so that is a little disappointing, if so.

Inexpensive. Does the job. Reasonably robust. Arrived quickly. No fuss. Pleased with my purchase.

Slightly Disappointing
Contains all the information and quite helpful and compact but the tiny writing makes it,a bit of a,struggle to see , so this wont suit everyone. Could really do with being the next size up.
