America SHURE M65 Circuit MM RIAA Tube Phone Turntable Preamp Assembled Board

Incomplete product - misleading advertising - improvement proposal

I already have both original Shure M-65, and Shure M-64 preamplifiers. I wished to buy this product in order to test it, and give it to my hi-fi friend as a gift. However, I quickly noticed that a complete power supply section, including connector is missing. In addition, there is no information about how to complete the preamplifier, and howe make it to work properly. The eBay product advertisement is actually a misleading information. I reccomend the producer to prepare a complemetary power supply section as per original Shure M65 data sheet, and offers it for sale as an option.

Ultrasone HFI-580 S-Logic Surround Sound Professional Headphones

Excellent product, excellent value!

I compared, listened, and measured (Room EQ Wizard ver. 5.1, home arranged artificial ear tool) under the same conditions my Ultrasone HFI-580 and my AKG K240 DH (professional) headphones. See the attached measuring diagram. Ultrasone (blue curve) are very exciting, less linear, but really enjoyable headphones, while AKG (red curve) are more linear, and more neutral. Ultrasone are ideal for my son (student), AKG are more appropriate for me (acoustic engineer).
