Needs a better mouse!
I bought the standalone 8 channel box to upgrade an old PC with a cctv card. The pc could not process the image quality now available from hi-res cameras. Setup was very easy. Installed a 2TB drive and had my 6 camera feeds all running in under an hour. Very impressed with recording/playback quality from all the cameras, even the oldest 480tvl ones! Now the problem - The mouse is nearly impossible to use, not sure if its the poor quality mouse or the interface on the box, i don't have another corded usb mouse to test. Tried a wireless mouse but that did not work. Even when it's not moving the cursor seems to randomly move around the screen. Tried using a keyboard in the second usb port but that is not recognised either.

not very powerful
Should read the description properly. the 4w light source is not powerful enough for projecting any reasonable distance when used outdoors. fine for indoor displays.
