Excellent Entry-Level DSLR
1 of 1 found this helpful I am only just starting to get used to this camera, but the camera makes that pretty easy. The pictures I have shot so far in full auto mode are more than acceptable, very good in fact. I am presently using an aftermarket book on the camera to start getting in to settings and such and am finding so far that the camera's buttons, dials, etc. are pretty logically arranged. It is going to take a while to get really comfortable with manual mode shooting but this seems so far to be a great camera for that purpose.

Very Nice, Versatile and Portable Camera
In Auto mode, this compact camera is very easy to use. It offers quite a lot for the advanced user who prefers manual settings. Given the small sensor, the photos are very good at any normal size. Photos taken at the maximum zoom range are somewhat noisy, but perfectly usable.
In all, it is a very versatile and very portable.

Simple but Effective
Battery and charger so far have worked perfectly. Battery charges pretty quickly and appears to hold charge well.
