Poor quality led to it breaking on first use
1 of 1 found this helpful Upon initial receipt of this flash bracket I thought it was very solidly constructed being made *mostly* out of metal. Unfortunately, when I came to use the product for the *first* time, I tried to tighten the main locking knob (using only reasonable, and *not* excessive force) and the plastic knob sheared and came straight off! I am now left with an unusable product where I cannot tighten the main locking knob. I would highly recommend buying a slightly more expensive alternative which will last at least one use, perhaps something from Manfrotto or at least a product with a more robust locking knob.

Inaccurate description
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this for a WD Elements hard drive. I own a 1Tb USB 2.0 version, and a 2Tb USB 3.0 version. The description for this item suggested this case would be suitable. Unfortunately, if you intend to keep a USB in the pouch like in the product images, the case is too small to fit these hard drives (they are too thick) and trying to force the hard case shut crushes the USB cable against the hard drive enclosure. I also cut out the padded central insert to make more space but this did not help. Unfortunate. Is you have a slim drive this might be a good quality product, however for a WD elements hard drive (which the description states this is compatible with), I would avoid this case.
