What do you want for under $6?

Really this item seems kind of cheesy, it makes the buttons harder to press and the fit isn't very tight. Whether it's loose enough to come out if dropped is hard to say. The front-facing edges come just barely above the front glass, so it surely offers very little protection for the glass. It's clear plastic, so hard to go wrong in the looks dept.. but I will surely buy something else very soon. So ok for the money, does protect the metal part from scratches, but barely protects the screen, if at all. A decent value for the money, but for my tastes, inadequate for the long haul.

Easy to install, works great!

It took all of 15 minutes to remove the old carb and install this new one, then my mower fired right up without even hesitating! A few years ago I tried to rebuild the old carb, spent more than $30 on the kit. It did run [like it was cold] after rebuilding but I noticed that whatever gas was left in the tank when I shut it down, was gone by the next day. About 6 months after that I ran the battery dead trying to start it... then it sat for almost three years! I was really afraid it would be hard to get it running again, but finally decided to take a chance on a new carb -- and I'm glad I did! It was a breeze! The kit turned out to be a false economy, new carb was definitely the way to go!

Phenomenal value

When I ordered this carb I expected it to be a listing mistake, figured it was going to be a kit. But it isn't, it's a whole, assembled brand new carb. Fit the mount studs exactly, came with gaskets for both sides, came with a pigtail for the fuel shut-off solenoid. It took me all of 10 minutes to install, and the engine fired right up the first time I cranked it. I couldn't be more pleased and at $20 a phenomenal value. Only one thing that would've been nice: the little plastic grommet on the throttle lever, that keeps the linkage connected, it didn't come with a new one, I had to very carefully bend and pry the old one out to transfer it to the new one. If it had broken, I would've been screwed. But reusing the old one did work, so I'm good to go!
