Purchased this bulb to replace a 35 watt halogen bulb. Worked great at first but suddenly started to strobe after a few weeks. When I went to remove the bulb it had completely come apart exposing the circuit board inside the lamp. At $17 this is not a good value. I've not used an EIKO bulb before and probably won't in the future.

Great device that sure beats a tape measure!
This is a second Blaze that I have purchased. First one is at home and this is at a second home that I own. These are great devices. They work fine, are accurate and most of all very easy to use. Sure beats a tape measure - especially when measuring up agains a wall where you just can't get the tape measure to bend enough to be accurate. The first one I have had for 6 years and it still works great. So, my guess is that they are durable and dependable.
