You get what you pay for.
I bought this to split a 530 chain, and rivet a new DID 530 chain. It was ok for splitting the old chain after grinding the head off the old pin. As for riveting the new chain, it was as much use as a chocolate tea pot. Rather than riveting the new link, it bent the rivet pin of the tool and then sheared the end off the push bolt of the tool. Wouldn't recommend.
