Worked for me.
Worth a go at a diy repair considering how cheap this is. Appearance of chip improved a lot, didn't disapear but it got an old car through another mot. Watch the youtube videos first, they give a better idea than just the instruction sheet.

Great bit of retro fun, you do need a tv that will tune to an analogue signal Games can be picked up for next to nothing now.

Good stuff
Seems to have cured water leaking into the boot, easy to use, well worth trying before replacing rubber seals.
