The Sound Of Music (Blu-ray + DVD Combo, 2010) 45th Anniversary Mint Condition

Looking magnificent after 50 years.

This is the beautifully restored version of the film undertaken for the 45th anniversary of its premier. This same restoration was used for the 50th anniversary release. The film was transfered from the original 65mm negatives by scanning in 4k resolution. From this 4K original the digitally restored blue ray and DVD's were produced and I must say the film hasn't looked better. The colours are vibrant and the Austrian/German scenery looks magnificent. This film hasn't looks even better than I remember it from its original West End 70mm roadshow release. Great extras are included in this version making it excellent value.

All the benefits of a wired network

All the benefits of a wired network achieved simply by using mains wireing. It was easy to set up and gave much faster downloads compared to wireless. I haveBT Halo 2 with maximum download of 72mbits which was acieved easily through these units. We do not yet have full fibre in these parts so every bit counts.

Stunning Print

This is a stunning print of a great picture. Looks like it just came out of the lab and demonstrates just how great black and white photography can be in the hands of a master. The story engages from the 'off' with well constructed characters and great action scenes.
