A nice MF wide angle lens.
I wanted a wide angle zoom for my Pentax 645Z. I researched and read reviews on a number of Pentax lenses and decided the SMCP-FA 645 33-55mm lens would meet my requirements. This is a solidly built autofocus and auto exposure lens which works with the Pentax 645 system including the 645N, 645D and 645Z etc. Test images showed extremely good resolution and color rendition. This is a good landscape and walking around lens - if any medium format setup is good for walking around. I am quite happy with my purchase. I also have two other zoom and one prime Pentax lenses. I am quite happy with all of them for the appropriate applications.

A good all around lens - nice for walking around and travel
8 of 9 found this helpful It is hard to beat the quality of the Canon L series lenses - I have quite a few. But for walking around and routine travel it is hard to justify carrying the exelent EF 28-300 L. I love the 28-300 but it weighs a ton and looks like a bazooka. So for convenience with APS C cameras the EFS 18-200 is a great choice. Nice zoom range (29 - 320) equivilent, good resolution and color rendition. I have purchased two of these, one for my wife and one for my daughter. One of these we have had for several years. Works great and delivers fine photos. A good choice for a single multi-purpose lens.

A nice versetile short telephoto - worth having
The Pentax FA 645 Macro 120mm works nicely with auto focus on my Pentax 645Z. Images are sharp and the macro feature is a great help for a variety of situations. Also good for portraits and copy work.
I have also used this lens, with an adapter on my Canon R5 with excellent results. Manual focus of course.
I am happy woth my purchase.
