Arsenic and old lace stand for the arsenic that the two, nice ladies put in wine to drive elderly men out of their misery. Lace means the old ladies
1 of 1 found this helpful It's an original movie (not a copy of another movie). It keeps you in suspense because there are some scary parts. It is mostly funny. Even the funny acts from those days will make you laugh.
