Simple and straight forward
Just clamp onto the rear sprocket, and shine the laser pointer up and down the chain. Couldn't be much simpler. Presumably the further up you can point it the more accurate it'll be. I had to remove my chain guard on my 2007 ZX6R but that's easily done.

Awesome camera, full of features. Feels quality, heavy in the hand, nice weight. If you want 4K, this is probably not for you, the frame rate is too low (15fps) so the video is a bit jerky for action shots. The other resolutions are spot on though, with superwide angle to narrow. 1080P/60fps is perfect for all but the hard core of videophiles. Basic mounts are good, but you'll want more. And buy a few memory cards. High res video means large data. Phone app is handy, but battery hungry and a little fiddly to connect. Has a touch screen on rear that makes navigation and setup a lot easier. Invest, enjoy.
