Moving and detailed account of an educated middle-aged woman's decline.
I came online to buy copies for my reading group, as I desperately want to share this book.
Lisa Genova has written a fantastically detailed and moving account of Alice's deterioration into Alzheimers, but from the first person perspective. I have never read a book like this before.
Lisa has also written a book called Left Neglected, abouta stroke survivor; however somehow it didn't grab me the way this book did.

I LOVE this series!
So delighted to find a copy. I have already bought the whole series on Kindle but decided I needed a paper copy. I have already lent it to a friend!

Couldn't find a recipe without sugar!
0 of 1 found this helpful I decided to quit refined sugar in my diet, so bought this book optimistically. I hadn't researched the I quit sugar series, so hadn't realised that their theory is that only fructose is bad for you. All recipes involved rice malt syrup. Sounds refined, to me, so I have been unable to use any recipes from it. For someone on-board with the I wait sugar theory, it would probably be great.
