Good value
This is a good electric oven at an excellent price. It functions very well and is easy to use when installed with the controls at eye level. The oven has an efficient fan and a grill, and comes with two slide-in shelves and a slide-in grill tray with chromed wire grille. Installation is easy, requiring the installer to provide a Phillip's screwdriver and a flex, to connect the robust oven contacts to a 13amp fused spur.
The temperature and function of the oven are controlled by two twist knobs on the front. The knobs are dark in colour, with a moulded slot in the top to indicate the direction that they are pointing in.
There are two minor improvements that could be made in the design to make the oven better when installed below counter level: I painted the little slot in the control knobs, with white paint, to make it easier to see which direction it is pointing; the second improvement would be to make the function icons and the temperature indicator numbers larger, and to paint them further away from the control knobs, as they are difficult to read from above (the knobs obscure them, requiring the user to bend down to oven height to read them - a few user trials would confirm this).
The trays slid stiffly when first used, but became smoother to slide after being moved in and out a couple of dozen times during installation.
Overall a good product which can be recommended as value for money.
