Okay I guess?
A bland, quite stilted tale about a female detective who ordinarily wouldn't be permitted to remain in the Police Force.

A lovely fictional book with a stong foundation of actual history.
A lovely book written by a superb author, who has extraordinary knowledge about the period on which the book is written.
Accordingly, thoroughly recommended indeed.
