Real value for money
Walter Kidde is a recognised name in professional fire safety. The i9040, although very reasonably priced, does everything a domestic smoke detector should and is very easy to fit.

Fine product but just a word of caution for WM625 owners
The suppliers performed well and the product was good. Unfortunately, the compatibility data supplied by B&D was wrong to the extent that these feet do not fit the WM625 Workmate - or at least not my example. However, they could be fitted OVER the old ones, which solved my problem.

Effective insulation: could be simpler to instal
There's no doubt that this jacket will be effective - panels are thick and bulk up well after unpacking - but the short piece of cord and (long but skinny) lengths of plastic raffia supplied to tie it around the tank really could do with improvement by the makers. Be ready to use some ingenuity if your hot tank is a tight fit in your airing cupboard: this can't be blamed on the suppliers, of course.
