When I was 10 or maybe 12 my Grandfather started to teach me the ways of a woodsman. I am now 78 and I still enjoy the outdoors, although sleeping on the ground is not that much fun anymore! I wish that I was able to take the Grand kids camping and teach them about the outdoors.

What a great design

Light weight and easy to use one handed
I am not a climber. I bought this for another purpose and I am avery pleased with it. Light and easy to use one handed and it appears to be certified. It will be perfect for securing a safety line to my harness while doing tree work. I recommend it for that purpose. I look at several others on e-bay. Some were more expensive and higher load rating, but I chose this one for its size and value.
