A Compelling Novella

A beautifully crafted novella. This book deserves a slow, thoughtful reading, shortly followed by an even closer reread. This is a literary novella, so don’t expect a page turning beach read. The translation is silky smooth. For those who treasure dust jackets, buy the hardback and treasure the delightful design.

Including two discs of interviews, plus the actual concert itself, this must be the Holy Grail for lovers of fine piano playing. The 15 CD set is beautifully presented within a lavish 218 page coffee table book, full of anecdotes and nostalgic black & white photographs. This set had a price of £135.99 on issue in August 2019 - aim to get one for about £60 unused.

A fitting tribute.

A beautiful volume, celebrating the mind of a beautiful man. This is one of the most important volumes of our age. Murray’s effortless use of language leaves me speechless. The Black Inc. production is tastefully put together. A must for anybody who treasures the English language.
