Sound book with no sound!

I try to purchase second hand books where possible to be sustainable and my son requested this as a Christmas present as we have a few others in the series. Was disappointed to purchase a book in 'very good' condition only to find the sound button doesn't work. I like the illustrations in the series and would recommend purchasing for toddlers, however would recommend buying new in this case.
