The very best of the best of early Dredd.
It's the Volume of Block Mania and the Apocalypse War. You couldn't really ask for two more thrilling stories. With Block Mania providing a very tense and slow simmer to the shattering events that are to follow. Fantastic ! ! !

Would've been better if didn't have to buy Vol2.
Great story written as a direct sequel to the original film and made before T2 hit the theatres. Could've done with the story "One Shot" being swapped out for "Endgame". If only so's to have the complete story arc that started with "Tempest", all collected neatly into one book. That and because the other stories that are featured throughout both Volumes, that aren't of the Tempest arc.. Well they're pretty weak to say the least. Can't say I'm a fan. And having to buy both volumes for the complete GOOD story was a bit of a mug off to say the least... But worth it I suppose. As it's pretty gripping throughout. A proper good adventure yarn.
