Cicerone, Mountain walking in Snowdonia: 40 of the finest routes in Snowdonia

Buy it!

A great book. I'd gathered a few books of walks in Snowdonia from charity shops. They all are good but some lack pictures/photographs or estimated times. Some mentioned gates and landmarks which have since been moved or are no longer there. This book ticks all my wishes! As a Cicerone book, I have an idea of what the author means when he decides walks are easy, moderate or difficult. Various writers/walk reviewers can have wildly different opinions of what's easy or hard. This assumes a fair level of fitness, i.e. it's aimed at walkers. Having said that, it's great that many alternatives are included to make walks easier or shorter. With forty walks (or probably more in more recent editions), it covers all the mountain ranges in Snowdonia including all the 14/15 peaks above 3000ft and doesn't forget the lesser visited mountains in the south of the park.

Easy-clean, looks great, comfortable.

I love this watch. It had replaced one of the same model and colour, the strap of which had gained a tear. I'd bought that one in 2017. So I only needed a new strap but seeing this second-hand one meant I might as well have got a whole new watch. I haven't tested the waterproofness up to100m but used to swim often with the last watch and it was fine. I love it because it's easy to clean - I can easily wash off any mud or sweat. The little bit that holds the strap on place did break pretty soon though so I've used an elastic band for years.

Just look at it!

I bought this for a friend because of the eye-catching design. It seemed a good size - just right for the make-up that my friend uses regularly. She replaced her old one with this and I believed her when she said that she loves it.
