Great deal for weather station.

This is a good looking small weather station. I was looking for a battery operated one that had sunset, and seconds display for the clock, and this has it. I had 4 options for sunset times, this is right on the spot for accurate time. I've always been happy with La Crosse, and would recommend this one.

Lightweight radio, great FM reception

I have had one of these radios for well over a year and am very happy with it. I don't do a lot of short wave listening, so I won't review that aspect, but I do a lot of listening to FM at work. Before I got this radio I had purchased 5 other radios that gave poor FM reception. This is a shirt pocket size radio that works just fine for FM, gives clear reception and sounds good with earbuds. Outside it does a decent job of playing AM radio stations. Kaito/Dengen/Tecsun will be my first choices when I purchase any radio.

I've used Palm products for more than 15 years now, and one of the best ones is the T|X. I use it for it's calendar feature, address book, solitaire game, media player, and most of all for e-reader and mobipocket. One person called it a mini Kindle and was impressed that I had a book reader I could carry in my pocket. The display of text is sharp, and battery life is plenty long enough for me to read all the way on long airplane flights. Yes, I do know that my phone can do all of those things and more, but using the Palm saves data usage and battery life.
